- Polymer Colloids Forum The PCF
was established in 1993, within Macro Group UK, to progress knowledge
in the science of polymer colloids by discussion, collaboration and education.
- RAPS (Recent Appointees in Polymer
Science) helps young polymer scientists form networks and contacts
with other researchers in academia and industry.
Related groups
- Polymer Physics Group (Institute
of Physics): The interests of the Group embrace the morphological and
mechanical properties of solid polymers; the solution and melt properties
of polymers; and the similarities between synthetic and biopolymer systems.
- The Biomaterials Chemistry Special Interest Group (Royal Society of
Chemistry) focuses on all molecular aspects of biomaterials, from design,
synthesis, preparation and processing to applications and clinical relevance.
- The Society for Adhesion and Adhesives
(SAA) is active in promoting the advancement of the science and technology
of adhesion and adhesives.
- The Polymer Degradation Discussion Group (PDDG) meets every second year at a UK university. The aim of the group is to encourage open and unscripted discussion of all aspects of the degradation and stabilisation of polymers.
